Whereas various workers around the globe were preferring to use virtual meetings at the same time when they’re working in the office, many of them, especially in this period, were started feeling enthusiastic, and some confused, by the idea of suddenly working remotely full-time even after limiting coronavirus’s spread.

This idea also taught by business owners and team members around the world who find it difficult to work in their offices and the lockdowns pushes them to work at home instead. This period makes them think about new working styles an provide the time to find solutions to the situation they’re living. Every business owner now is looking for new ways to develop and experiment for themselves, their businesses and their workers in the space, so to help them, the following tips could be valuable.

1. balancing between work/life styles

When you design a special workspace at home, the first thing you should think after is make a balance between your work time and your life time. It’s better to provide schedules for your routine as usual, like Waking up at 7:00 a.m., taking a Shower, eating your breakfast, doing some activities as reading for 15 min, then going to your workspace and starting your working day; after that, taking a break to comfort, then returning to work. when you finish, go and do your life activities like talking to your friends, watching TV…etc. before sleeping, it’s better to think about your next projects for the next day.

These schedules make it easy for you to do the routine of feeling always ready to work from home as you do when you work in your office. It makes you feel like you aren’t leave-taking your office. You might feel the need to continually check emails, and other projects that can be done the next days.

Another strategy you can use is providing a special section in your home for only your work. For example, you could use note stickers to write monitors for projects and meetings you have to do, emails you should send, and al the things you’ve to do. When you start working the next day, you’ll check your mentors you left on your desk, and use them to refresh your mind. Defining a borderline between your personal time and your work time will help you balance your life.

2. Having breaks

The main problem every worker might face is working with no stop intentionally. If you start fixing some technical isues for a client, you start working and do your best for hours with no stop until you get your projects done. Improving your focus is constantly valuable throughout your working hours. It helps you stay more effective, make great decisions, and solve problems and find effective solutions that benefits your client and your company.

As you begin to provide strategic plans for developing your business, or solve problems your client may have, you feel tired and your back is painful from being hunched over all the working hours, your eyes are tired from looking at your PC screen, and you didn’t eat anything to stay strong.

So, you have to think about your health and schedule some breaks for yourself during the day. For instance, you can do some workouts, read what you love, stretch for 10 min, stop looking to your screen and relax. After doing these activities, your body and brain will feel relax, and you’ll recover focus on a project, and maybe you could come up with effective out-of-the-box solutions to your problems which you haven’t thought of before.
